Inside the New Demolition Textbook - Part II

The National Demolition Association and Purdue University Press recently published a new demolition textbook on the demolition industry's practices and standards. Demolition: Practices, Technology and Management is believed to be the first first such scholarly textbook on the topic of demolition in the world. Michael Taylor, Executive Director of the National Demolition Association, joins the Construction Business Podcast to discuss the book intended  for students in construction management programs and any working professional involved in demolition projects looking for a reference resource about demolition. Since this is an industry-first book the discussion was extensive and has been broken into two parts for you to listen to. In the second part of the Construction Business Podcast on the new Demolition textbook, Michael talks about:
  • The relationship between Purdue University and the National Demolition Association in publishing the textbook
  • Where the idea of the textbook came from
  • The role the NDA played in the book's development
