Crete Rod's all-wheel drive material handler delivers a 33-cubic foot payload across even the most demanding terrains, including tight quarters with limited access. The nimble, three-wheeled workhorse was designed from the ground up to overcome the limitations of using concrete buggies, pumps and skid steers for material hauling.  A Tier 4 engine ensures low CO2 exhaust emissions, while a low discharge height eliminates 95% of the splash for a cleaner pour with faster clean-up.

Measuring approximately 120” long by 54” wide and 59” tall, the Crete Rod serves as a low-profile equipment option and has a low center of gravity for stability. Its 78.50” wheelbase, coupled with all-wheel hydro-static drive with twin locking motors, and hydraulic cylinder driven rack and pinion steering deliver unparalleled stability, maneuverability, efficiency and versatility. The Crete Rod moves concrete and other building materials across varied terrains and in restricted spaces like indoor and outdoor construction sites, bridge construction projects, mining facilities, landscape contracting projects, and more.

A 3-cylinder, 4-cycle, liquid-cooled Kubota tier-4 diesel engine and variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pumps provide ample power, allowing the Crete Rod to deliver a full yard and a third of concrete precisely where it is needed.

The Crete Rod was invented by Jim Deetjen, co-owner of Premium Concrete, a 30-year veteran of field construction.  After looking at their fleet of concrete buggies, Jim and his mechanic realized that there was significant room for improvement.  The pair spent countless hours in the shop developing the initial prototype of the Crete Rod.   By 2009, with several prototypes working in the field, Jim realized that the Crete Rod could change the construction industry.  The models offered today are the result of years of rigorous testing, manufacturing to exacting standards, and unrelenting quality control.  Crete Rod is manufactured in Decatur, IN and is available for sale or rental through a network of North American dealers.
