Phoenix Curb Machines designed the new Curbie Curb Cutting Saw's articulating saw head to cut horizontally at pavement level for curbs, bridge parapets and other vertical structures; slice vertically in pavement, safety barriers, or walls; and adjust to any angle in between. Powered by an 80-hp Yanmar diesel, Curbie easily handles up to a 54-in. diamond blade for deep cuts, and can slice curbs from outside to inside.

"The Curbie will save cities time and money and is less intrusive," says Roger Euliss, president of joint-venture partner SCM. "Curb cutting is 7 times faster than removal and replacement, and can save cities as much as 52 percent on ADA ramp/sidewalk projects."
