Hitachi’ offers upgrades to its two largest Dash-Two compact excavators. Faster operating speeds and more drawbar pull are combined with auto-idle to reduce fuel consumption while a new, long arm and heavy counterweight option provide an additional foot of dig depth and reach. Structural improvements include a rounded X-beam track frame for easy mud removal, a 50-degree forward tilt operator’s station and a sliding engine cover for fast and easy servicing.

AUSA C150H

The C150H represents a new generation of 1,500-Kg-load-capacity rough-terrain forklifts. Features include a state-of-the-art power train, new engine and an innovative hydrostatic drive, cabin and counterweight. Unit also creates low exhaust and noise emissions. The Total Control system gives the operator full control of all functions through the joystick AUSA has been building into its vehicles over recent years. By means of this system, the operator carries out all lifting operations with his right hand while controlling the steering wheel with his left.

Ground Heaters HX-Series

The HX-Series Heat Xchangers are intended for use with both the Sahara Air Heater and traditional Ground Heaters product lines. Powerful liquid-to-air heat exchangers, the HX-Series can turn any Ground Heater model into a highly effective air heater. This gives the contractor working in the winter the ability to thaw ground, cure concrete and then provide temporary heat to the enclosed structure, all with the same machine. Because there are no combustion by-products created by the Heat Xchangers, they can use air from the workspace instead of colder outdoor air, which requires less fuel to heat and are therefore highly economical to use.

Takeuchi TB1140 Excavator

The 31,370-lb. TB1140 features a two-speed travel system with automatic shift down. Other features include an 18-ft. digging depth with 22,188-lb. bucket breakout force, 28.1-ft. reach at ground level and 20.4-ft. dump height. Unit is powered by a 83.4-hp EPA exhaust-compliant Isuzu turbo diesel engine and offers standard primary and secondary auxiliary hydraulic circuits with thumb-operated proportional controls, offset swing boom, heavy-duty dozer blade and air conditioning.

Premier Skid Steer Trencher Attachments

Premier’s T150 and T250 trencher attachments offer a wide range of speed and torque combinations to fit skid steer requirements. Features include a heavy-duty planetary drive system, replaceable spoil auger, built-in skid shoe, manual side shift, heavy-duty crumber shoe assembly and more. Trenchers offer 3- to 4-ft. digging depths while 6- to 12-in. widths are optional.

Essex Silver-Line Velcro Drum

Designed for the Essex Silver-Line SL8 floor sander, the new velcro drum is made from high-density foam rubber and incorporates the hook and loop technology for installation of paper. Velcro drum comes complete with all parts, ready to install on the SL8.

Stud Magnet from Magnet Source

The Stud Magnet quickly and accurately locates studs behind drywalls. The product contains powerful and permanent neodymium magnets, which are attracted to nails and screws within hidden studs. Once a stud is located, the Stud Magnet attracts to the wall, freeing hands for tasks and eliminating the need to mark the wall. Tool needs no batteries and is just 4 in. long. It not only locates studs, but also has a built-in nail starter and acts as a plumb line anchor when a string and weight are attached to a hole in the bottom.
