Astec Expands Rock to Road Strategy at World of Asphalt 2024

Five new products and product features will be on display at Astec's booth #1263 where attendees will get a first-hand look at innovative additions to crushing, paving, and milling.

With the 2024 World of Asphalt just around the corner, the reveals and previews of what's new and forthcoming at the show will start dropping quickly. For the next few weeks, buckle up, and get ready to see what is going to transform the way you do road work in the near future.

At CONEXPO 2023, Astec promoted their "Rock to Road" strategy, and they are building on that for 2024 by announcing five new products which the public will have the initial look at in Nashville, Tenn. This strategy means that the new products will hit every aspect of the road building job: milling, paving, and aggregates. Visitors to booth 1263 can expect a firsthand look at the state-of-the-art technologies, with a mix of new and established solutions.

The new products include:

  • The IntelliPac Moisture System: provides operators with real-time insights into aggregate moisture, allowing for precise adjustments that can result in significant cost savings.
  • ReMix: cold central plant recycling system offers a sustainable solution for efficiently utilizing reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) stockpiles.
  • The Whisper Jet and Versa Jet Burners round out the asphalt processing product offerings.
  • The operator environmental awareness system for the RX-405 cold planer, which provides operators with a bird’s eye view of their machine in real time.
  • Visitors will also have access to a new asphalt mixing augmented reality immersive experience.
