World Cement Association to Discuss “Future of Cement Industry” at Conference

Experts will also discuss the growing role China has within the sector and the effects of the trade wars on the global cement industry.

The World Cement Association announced today the topics for this year’s WCA World Cement Conference, in association with Intercem, which will focus on the “Future for Cement Industry”, following a reshaping of the industry caused by digitalization, new regulations and barriers of entry as well as dramatic changes in supply and demand patterns within the sector.

Experts will also discuss the growing role China has within the sector and the effects of the trade wars on the global cement industry. The conference, will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on December 5, 2018. Pre-registration for the annual WCA World Cement Conference is now open.
