Milwaukee Tool has launched several safety products for head protection in construction sites. Milwaukee BOLT is a system that allows users to secure safety accessories simultaneously for a thorough head protection solution. Eye visors, polycarbonate face shields, metal mesh face shields and the BOLT REDLITHIUM USB headlamp are joining the BOLT safety lineup.

Eye Visors

The new BOLT eye visors are designed for proper fit and headlamp use. The visors are classified as spectacles and can be used in place of safety glasses with a Z87.1+ rating. Designed with a wide range of face shapes in mind, the visors feature dual pivoting adjustment points. The eye visor lenses are treated with an anti-scratch exterior hard coating and a fog-free interior coating. Installation of the eye visor is facilitated by a slide mechanism. The eye visors include a BOLT low-profile headlamp mount that allows compatibility with most headlamps.

Polycarbonate Face Shields

Milwaukee’s BOLT full face shields are designed for visibility, featuring an ANSI Z87.1+ rating, a fog-free interior coating and an anti-scratch exterior hard coating. The shields secure into the BOLT front slots on Milwaukee head protection. The shield lens can be removed for replacement with the tool-free snap-in, snap-out covers. The face shields are available in an option compatible with all Milwaukee safety helmets and hard hats, which includes a BOLT low-profile headlamp mount that allows compatibility with select headlamps, as well as an option designed for Milwaukee safety helmets with no brim.

Metal Mesh Face Shield

Constructed with highly durable stainless steel, the BOLT mesh full face shield protects users from debris in chipping and cutting applications. These ANSI Z87.1 rated face shields feature an optimal shield width and mesh pattern design. These shields feature snap-in, snap-out covers, allowing tool-free shield replacement. The face shields are available in an option compatible with all Milwaukee safety helmets and hard hats, which includes a BOLT low-profile headlamp mount that allows compatibility with select headlamps, as well as an option designed for Milwaukee safety helmets with no brim.

BOLT REDLITHIUM USB Headlamp

Fully compatible with all BOLT accessories, this product serves as a lighting solution for Milwaukee hard hats and helmets. The headlamp features a light head that allows users to raise and lower face shields and eye visors. During use, this lamp delivers 600 lumens of TRUEVIEW high-definition flood lighting. A 70° pivoting light head ensures illumination for any task. For all-day use, the headlamp is designed with a cam lock mounted battery pack in the rear for maneuverability and security in tight spaces. The Milwaukee headlamp has four light output modes: high, medium, low and eco, for up to 32 hours of runtime. The battery can be recharged in the headlamp via USB-C or swapped out with additional REDLITHIUM USB Batteries. This light is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance and can withstand up to 2M drops.

* The Z87.1 portion of ANSI standards references the standards for Occupational and Educational Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices. These standards help ensure that personal eye and face protection devices provide the necessary protection from hazards on the job site.
