To simplify tooling configuration and parts purchasing for horizontal directional drill (HDD) operators, Ditch Witch has launched an ecommerce version of HDD Advisor. The online platform can help operators minimize downtime by configuring a drill for a job and connecting with their local dealer inventory to access the parts they need.
Historically, identifying the proper tooling for jobsites has been a challenging process. Using HDD Advisor, operators and dealers can get the correct configurations and solutions by answering just a few questions about their drill, drill pipe and jobsite. The platform automatically populates all the possible options for building out a drill string. HDD Advisor will only allow users to select tooling that will correctly configure with their drill.
