The STIHL HTA 150 and HTA 160 pack both power and performance for professionals on busy jobsites. These new battery pole pruners are part of the STIHL AP System and offer a lightweight design — 14.3 lbs. and 19.2 lbs., respectively, when paired with the AP 300 S. Designed for tree maintenance, the tools provide up to 60 minutes of run time per charge.
HTA 150
The fixed-shaft HTA 150 pole pruner features a magnesium gearbox, making this a maneuverable tool to trim hard-to-reach limbs. The fixed shaft allows for control and stability when pruning. Powered by the AP 300 S 36-volt battery, this pole pruner features a 10-in. bar and 3/8-in. PMM3 chain for a clean, smooth cut with low vibration. The branch hook allows for removal of loose tree clippings. Plus, the added foot mount smart kit provides support to the machine when resting on the ground.
HTA 160
The HTA 160 is the most powerful battery-powered pole pruner in the AP System, comparable in cutting power to the HT 135 gas-powered pole pruner. It is equipped with a telescoping shaft featuring a distinctive square-shaft design that is strong and rigid and can reach from 9 ft., 4 in. up to 13 ft., 3 in. The durable gearbox design allows for precision while pruning. When not in use, a foot mount support props the tool above the ground to help protect the motor housing from damage.
In addition, STIHL HTA 150 and HTA 160 come equipped with a variable-speed throttle trigger, allowing for control and cutting speed for performance and run time. Additionally, with the motor housing molded to accept the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, professionals can use the STHIL connected platform.
