GRETNA – United Rentals is suing a contractor claiming it is owed more than $80,000 for equipment rental.
United Rentals filed suit against Jordan Tornabene and Jet Construction Services Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 21.
United Rentals asserts that on July 23, 2012 it entered into an agreement to rent equipment on a credit basis to Tornabene who was purportedly representing Jet Construction Services Inc. The plaintiff alleges that after renting the equipment the defendants failed to pay fees. United Rentals claims the only payment received was from a contractor who benefited from the equipment Tornabene used in a subcontract and that the amount was only $2,680.40.
