Monday, RTV6 learned Christopher Hall, 48, was in custody, held without bond in the Johnson County Jail.

He was apprehended over the weekend after tips from viewers who saw the story led IMPD to his capture.

Investigators said Hall would rent equipment with a state of Indiana purchase order and then immediately take it to a pawn shop to sell it.

Over a six-week period, he pawned 81 items, IMPD said.

Hall's image was captured on video surveillance in October, allegedly stealing trailers from an industrial park near 65th Street and Binford Boulevard in Indianapolis.
