Witnesses said a man drove his pickup truck through several red lights, struck the side of a vehicle and swerved through a fence into a Houston high rise construction site at around 2 a.m. Saturday before plunging into 25 ft. into an excavation. Several witnesses nearby jumped in to save the man, who was found unconscious.

"It was a miracle (he survived), to be honest with you," said one witness who climbed into the pit to help rescue the man.
