ICS, a division of Blount International, Inc. and a global leader in diamond chain and saw products for cutting concrete and utility pipe, announces an agreement with Tractive AB, Sweden, and Pentruder Inc., Chandler, AZ, that makes ICS the exclusive source of Pentruder high-performance concrete cutting systems in the Americas. Through the agreement, ICS will market, sell, and support the Pentruder line of wall saws, wire saws, core drills and all parts/accessories in the region through ICS’ direct sales team and its Portland, OR-based headquarters. ICS assumes operation of Pentruder, Inc., previously responsible for Americas distribution and customer service from its location in Chandler.

Terry Martin, President/Owner of Pentruder Inc. in the Americas adds, “The experienced sales team and support that ICS brings to the business will enable Pentruder to reach more customers, while continuing the high level of service, technical support and replacement parts availability that current Pentruder owners are accustomed to receiving.” Martin will join ICS full-time as Director of Business Development - Pentruder from the Chandler location, providing ongoing business leadership and ensuring a seamless transition.
The agreement expands ICS’ product offering in the Americas, providing its customer base with a complete line of high-quality, professional grade concrete cutting solutions. “Adding the Pentruder line of high-performance cutting systems to the existing ICS chain, saw, and tool portfolio allows us to meet a full range of customer applications, and provide a higher level of service for our professional concrete cutting customers,” said Dave Gillrie, President of ICS. “ICS has built a world-class sales and support team to help our customers achieve success, and we’re pleased to be able to extend our offering to include the market-leading Pentruder line of products.”
The agreement is effective immediately. Integration of Pentruder, Inc. business operations into ICS will take place over coming weeks, addressing all aspects of marketing, sales, transactions, delivery, and customer service in the Americas region.
