The MK-5000 wet cutting block saw series are built for heavy-duty industrial use. A stay level blade guard gives 180-degree coverage at all times and keeps the blade guard parallel to the cutting table for accurate cuts.
Phoenix Curb Machines designed the new Curbie Curb Cutting Saw's articulating saw head to cut horizontally at pavement level for curbs, bridge parapets and other vertical structures; slice vertically in pavement, safety barriers, or walls; and adjust to any angle in between. Powered by an 80-hp Yanmar diesel, Curbie easily handles up to a 54-in. diamond blade for deep cuts, and can slice curbs from outside to inside.
CS Unitec's Pneumatic Cut-off Saw, model CSH-100, is 5 hp with a maximum blade capacity of 14 in., allowing it to cut up to 4 in. deep. The motor has a no-load speed of 5250 and consumes 90 cfm at 100 psi. It weighs 22 lbs. The unit is designed for wet or dry cutting of concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel and other tough material. The saw accepts either diamond or abrasive blades. Other features include in-line oilers for motor lubrication and adjustable blade guards.
The 14-in. Power Cutter model EK7301 is powered by a 5.1-hp (maximum), 73cc gas engine designed for faster starting and a no-load speed of 9,350 rpm. The cutting arm can be positioned for cuts directly adjacent to curb edges, walls or directly above the ground. Cushioned grips with four vibration-absorption rubber buffers, exhaust ports directed away from the operator and weight-reducing aluminum guard and wheel pressure plates are designed to increase operator comfort.
