The Potain MR 418 is the first in an updated line of luffing jib cranes from Manitowoc, each with full frequency controlled mechanisms for precision control.
- Maximum capacity of 26 US tons and a maximum jib length of 197 ft.
- Luffs the jib from the horizontal position to the vertical in just 1 minute 15 seconds
- Auto-leveling function allows the crane to move loads horizontally by using only the luffing motion
- Onboard control system allows the crane to be put into operation just minutes after assembly is completed
- Optional 270-hp 320 LVF 120 hoist offers a 2,723-ft. rope capacity on the winch drum and can reach speeds of up to 833 fpm
- Available 150-hp 180 LVF 120 hoist has a drum capacity of 1,811 ft. and can produce line speeds of up to 689 fpm
- Luffing mechanism and hoist mounted inside the counterjib
- Large, easily accessible service platform behind the cab for access to all the major service points from a single location
- Can be installed on fixing angles or on various sized chassis of 20' x 20', 26' x 26' and 33' x 33'
