Astec Industries recognized Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. (KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens) with the Chairman’s Circle Award March 3 during ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Chairman’s Circle Award, which was established in February 2014, is presented annually to subsidiaries of Astec Industries in recognition of outstanding overall performance. Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. was one of seven subsidiaries to earn the Chairman’s Circle Award.
The award is given to subsidiaries that achieve both financial and non-financial goals, including safety, according to Jeff May, president of Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc.
Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. recorded one of its best years in company history in 2013 – a “testament not only to the strength of our sales and marketing organization, but to the customer service, quality products, and dedication to continuous improvement” for which the company is known.
“We are incredibly honored to receive the award, and grateful to all of our stakeholders who made the award possible,” May said. “As we look forward to 2014, Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. is off to a great start, and we expect a prosperous year for all three manufacturing locations.”
