Real Power offers mobile electric AC generators for construction and vehicle applications. Providing a range from 15 to 150 kW of continuous power output, the systems integrate under the body of the truck and utilize the transmission’s power take-off (PTO) to convert the output of its existing diesel engine into portable AC electricity.
Traditional diesel-powered generators weigh thousands of pounds and take up valuable space in the back of the truck. Real Power systems generate the same three-phase 480V power at a fraction of the weight, with no space used inside the body. The Real Power generator is below deck, freeing up 100% of the truck space for equipment.
Specifically, the system provides the concrete sawing and drilling contractors with 60 kW, enough to power a 40-hp saw, 240V water pump and a 70-amp single-phase circuit and includes a custom power distribution panel which can be configured with the exact amount and type of power outlets needed.
