Doosan Infracore America has added three crawler excavators, three wheeled excavators and two wheel loaders to its line of heavy equipment. Each of the new units meets Tier III regulations.

Their electronic package allows communication between the engine and hydraulics for optimum performance and fuel economy. Other features include a boom overload warning device, CD player, travel and swing alarm and auxiliary valve with one- and two-way hydraulic piping to the end of the arm with flow control inside the cab.

DX Series excavators
The DX180, DX225 and DX255 crawler excavators and DX140W, DX190W and DX210W wheeled excavators are designed for strength and durability. In addition to their emissions-compliant engines, the units feature a dual-walled exhaust silencer to reduce noise levels. Other features include convenient hose routing, wiring harness layout and filter placement, as well as centralized grease points on the boom and arm.

An ergonomically designed cab includes fully automatic heating and air conditioning, a six-way adjustable seat with lumbar support and a telescopic control stand. The glass surface and a transparent roof section increase visibility. Low operating costs are maintained via ease of routine maintenance, extended service intervals and increased fuel economy.

DL Series loaders
The 200 and 250 models in the DL series wheel loader line incorporate a common rail electronic engine producing optimal horsepower and torque, while meeting Tier III emissions standards. Communication between the engine and fully automatic transmission produces smooth operation and added traction in all working conditions. The lower gear speeds provided by the ZF axle produce lower heat generation for extended component life.

The DL Series features centralized remote hydraulic checkpoints and easily accessible filters and electrical components. The hydraulically driven reversible fan can quickly clean debris from the cooling group.

The cab design includes a tilting and telescoping steering column, adjustable arm rest for the joystick and adjustable suspension seat with lumbar support. The seat is 15% larger than its Mega series predecessor.

The cab offers a 71-dB(A) interior noise level. Other features include expanded visibility, fully automatic climate controls, a load isolation system, multiple work mode ZF transmissions and heated exterior mirrors.
