Tadano America Appoints Ingo Schiller Executive Vice President

Schiller is positioned to become the company's first American president effective April 1, 2017

Houston, TX-based Tadano America has hired Ingo Schiller as an executive vice president reporting to Yo Kakinuma, President and COO. Schiller is positioned to take over as president and CEO effective from April 1, 2017 after Mr. Kakinuma returns to Japan.

“Tadano is excited to have Ingo join our team and later become Tadano America’s first American president,“ Mr. Kakinuma said. “Ingo’s experience in and knowledge of the crane industry in North America and his experience working with all-terrain and rough-terrain crane products brings strong expertise to Tadano.“

Most recently, Schiller served as senior vice president in product management for Manitowoc Cranes. Prior to that he worked in sales for Liebherr Cranes.

“I am honored to join Tadano and help them to continue to build their excellent brand presence and reputation,“ Schiller said. “Tadano’s cranes are widely held as the highest in quality and known for their excellent reliability. I look forward to working with the Tadano America team to further increase marketshare and expand product development.“
