The Grove GMK5150XL all-terrain crane is designed for construction and heavy-duty lifting applications. This industrial crane model features a five-axle configuration with increased capacity and boom length. The 150t class offers 68.7 meters of main boom, where it can handle 8.1 tons. At 66 meters, it lifts 9.4 tons and at almost 60 meters it lifts 12.7 tons.

The crane has a range of counterweight configurations to suit different applications and uses. Taxi configurations start from just 1 ton of counterweight. For configurations maintaining 12 tons per axle, the GMK5150XL can carry up to 10.2 tons of counterweight. Also, the heavy roadable counterweight configuration (16.5 tons/axle) makes it possible to drive with 30.9 tons of counterweight on boar.

“These new Grove cranes deliver a level of performance that was not previously thought possible from cranes in this class, and we can’t wait to get the first orders to our customers,” said Andreas Cremer, vice president product management mobile cranes.

With the introduction of EUROMOT 5, all Grove all-terrain cranes can be operated with HVO diesel that enables CO2 emission reductions of up to 90%.
