Metabo HPT has announced the newest addition to its cordless nailer lineup with the 18V MultiVolt 18-Gauge Compact Brushless Brad Nailer that now comes with a 2.0Ah Battery with Fuel Gauge (model NT1850DFT).
This brushless cordless nailer is 30% more compact and 31% lighter than its predecessor (model NT1850DES). Weighing 4.4-lbs., it can fit into tight spaces and nail crown overhead. It delivers a driving speed of two nails per second with zero ramp-up. This compact cordless brad nailer is an alternative for trim applications offering the freedom to move without dragging a hose, lugging a compressor or having to deal with gas cartridges.
This 18V cordless brad nailer drives 1,300 brad nails per charge with the included compact 18V 2.0Ah battery with fuel gauge (or up to 4,000 brad nails per charge with an 18V or 36V MultiVolt 8.0Ah battery, sold separately) while delivering the “feel” of a pneumatic - thanks to Metabo HPT’s Air Spring Drive technology that uses compressed air to drive each nail. The NT1850DFT cordless brad nailer drives 5/8-in. up to 2-in. 18-Gauge brad nails. The tool-less depth of drive adjustment, now located on the left side, caters to right-handed users, which enables changing to flush drive or countersink into varying material. The side loading magazine is designed for nail strip replenishments. This cordless compact brad nailer has the capacity to accept 100 brad nails at a time. Choose between sequential actuation or bump fire mode for nailing.
It’s equipped with a compact belt hook to hang from a tool belt, and the narrow striking head promotes placement of brad nails.
With zero ramp-up time, there is no waiting for the tool to warm up – simply turn on the tool on the simplified control panel, and you’re ready to go. It has the power to drive 2-in. brads into any softwood, trim and MDF as well as sink brads into hardwoods. For increased user safety, this tool features an LED light and a side-lock switch to prevent accidental firing. A non-slip rubber grip helps maintain control during use. The tool measures 11-1/4-in. in height.
This 18V Compact Cordless MultiVolt Brad Nailer comes with one 18V Compact 2.0Ah Battery with Fuel Gauge (377797M), charger (UC18YFSL), no mar nose cap, safety glasses and carrying bag for storage and transport.
