Western Global added a third U.S. facility, located in Sacramento, Calif., joining the company’s locations in Troy, Mich. and Pineville, N.C.
“Our fuel tanks have continued to grow in popularity since our first U.S. location opened in 2006,” said John Cleary, Western Global Americas’ vice president of sales. “We opened our Pineville location four months ago to be closer to our east coast customers. We see this Sacramento location as the next logical progression in closing the proximity gap between customers so we can be ready for whatever their job or conditions might require.”
The addition of the new Sacramento location enhances Western Global’s focus on sustainability by minimizing the distance trucks need to travel to ship its products to their destination. In addition to this positive environmental impact, Western Global’s products support customers in their own efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
“Adding new distribution facilities throughout the United States benefits customers with faster response times and positively impacts our environment,” said Cleary. “These new facilities are strategically located throughout the country to reduce our carbon footprint and the emissions created during transport.”
Jeremy Shepherd and Jeff Lawrence will provide leadership at the Sacramento facility. Shepherd, a regional sales manager at Western Global, has 20 years of experience working for industrial equipment manufacturers. Before his time at Western Global, he was a regional sales manager for a manufacturer of fluid handling products.
Lawrence is a national account manager at Western Global and brings 35 years of experience in the equipment industry to his role. Before joining the Western Global team, he had national account management roles for two different equipment manufacturers with a focus on the western region of the U.S.
