Wacker Neuson introduced three newly re-designed prime power mobile generators that sport a new look, compact design, quiet operation, and variety of performance enhanced features.

The G25, G35, and G50 models offer a compact cabinet with integrated trailer and folding tongue that allows for more machines to fit on a flatbed trailer and reduces storage space needed. The fresh white paint and bold black wheels and fenders, along with updated Wacker Neuson decaling, give these mobile generators a modern look.

The G25 and G35 are powered by Kohler KDI1903 turbo-charged engines and the G50 is powered by the Kohler KDI2504 turbo-charged diesel engine. The Kohler engines use Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) to provide a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and regeneration-free experience.

The low cost of ownership and longer uptime is a result of service efficiency, better fuel economy, and long service intervals. Plus, the Kohler engines come with a four-year/4,000 hour transferable warranty. Along with the Kohler engine, Wacker Neuson engineers have incorporated a Mecc Alte alternator and Deep Sea controller that provide reliable performance under harsh conditions.

Wacker Neuson’s newest model to its mobile generator line up is the G35. This 49 horsepower generator falls below the requirement for California’s Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP). The G35 produces standby output of 31 kW/39 kVA and prime output of 28 kW/35 kVA. The G25 produces standby output of 22 kW/27 kVA and prime power of 20 kW/25 kVA. Both models offer a 63 gallon fuel tank for up to 33.6 hour run time (G25) and 25 hours (G35) at 100-percent prime load. The G50 offers a standby output of 42 kW/52 kVA, prime power of 38 kW/48 kVA, and the 88-gallon fuel tank provides up to 25.6 hours of run time at 100 percent prime load.

When combined with the optional variable speed fan, these QuietPower units are rated at 63 dBA making them perfect for sound-sensitive applications. All of the new Wacker Neuson mobile generators feature separate excitation windings and Automatic Voltage Regulation that provide superior motor starting and enhanced ability to run non-linear loads. Additional features include a voltage selector switch that allows the operator to easily select the setting before starting the generator. The lug door features a safety switch that turns the power off to the lugs with the door is opened for added operator safety.
