Asphalt Drum Mixers, Inc. promotes Carlos Cardenas to sales engineer. Cardenas brings almost 25 years of industry experience and technical knowledge of ADM equipment to his new role. He is responsible for providing guidance, support and information to customers before, during and after the sale.

Cardenas has served in multiple roles at ADM since he started in 1994, giving him a thorough knowledge of the company and its products. His positions included part sales, field technician and, most recently, head of the electrical department. As an electrical engineer, he designed new components and improved others, always looking for new ways to enhance productivity and maintain quality while keeping customer costs low.

“I’m excited to become more familiar with our customers and their individual needs, as well as to meet and educate new customers,” Cardenas says. “I enjoy a good challenge and am a firm believer we can accomplish anything we’re passionate about. I’m determined to help companies I work with solve operational challenges and improve their bottom line.”

Cardenas attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne for mechanical engineering and is finalizing an industrial manufacturing engineering degree at Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne. He also holds several industry-specific certificates involving asphalt plant components and PLC.

Cardenas is based out of ADM’s headquarters in Huntertown, IN. Reach him at 260-637-5729 or [email protected].
