The M.i.S.T from InstroTek, Inc.  offers a logical approach to conditioning HMA mixtures for moisture damage susceptibility.

  • With a pressurized chamber water is pushed and pulled through a compacted asphalt sample creating pore pressure buildup and hydraulic scouring
  • Simulates pressures created by vehicle tires
  • Accurately condition asphalt samples and provide engineers and technicians results on the condition of the mixture within hours
