KPA has separated its Flex and Risk Management Center software businesses, turning it into a standalone company called Novara.
Novara will focus on safety and operational risk management software for industries including manufacturing, construction, utilities and oil and gas. The company will primarily deliver its solutions through the Flex SaaS platform, designed to support safety workflows and provide centralized risk visibility.
Michael Bruns, former CEO of KPA, has been appointed CEO of Novara. Wayne Curtis, previously KPA’s vice president of field services, has been named CEO of KPA. Following the separation, KPA will concentrate on compliance software, training and consulting services for the automotive industry.
