To meet growing demand for top-quality industry training and cater for an expanding range of services, CSDA has scheduled record-setting five training courses at World of Concrete 2017 in Las Vegas.

This marks the highest number of training courses offered by CSDA at a single event, having previously held four courses at World of Concrete 2016 (WOC) when the association graduated a record 115 students—an 83 percent increase over the previous year.

The courses are scheduled between January 16th and 20th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The class schedule is as follows:

Dates                                        Course Title

Jan. 16-17, 2017                        Estimating

Jan. 17, 2017                            CSDA-ST-115 Certification

Jan. 17-18, 2017                        GPR Certification

Jan. 18-19, 2017                        Concrete Polishing 101

Jan. 18-19, 2017                        Diamond Cutting: Sharpen Your Skills

“Since we began offering training at WOC back in 2010 we have seen registration numbers steadily increase, culminating in two of our 2016 courses being sold out—each graduating 40 students,” CSDA Training Committee Chair Dan Foley says. “WOC presents a unique opportunity for companies to acquire invaluable industry training while taking in everything else this hugely-important show has to offer.”

The latest addition to CSDA’s course schedule at WOC has been specifically designed for experienced ground penetrating radar (GPR) technicians. The two-day GPR Certification course tests students on GPR theory, proper mark out procedures, the limitations of GPR and the application of advanced locating techniques. CSDA aims to set the standard for educating and certifying the proficiency of GPR technicians with this new course.

CSDA, a long-standing cosponsor of WOC, will exhibit at booth #C4433 in the Central Hall during the 2017 show. WOC attendees can use the association’s unique Source Code, A26, for the best exhibits-only registration deal (some restrictions may apply).
