Scott Reynolds is the co-founder and CEO of UpCodes, an AI-powered platform transforming how the building industry accesses and navigates construction codes. Trained as an architect, Scott worked in leading firms across Hong Kong and New York, where he witnessed firsthand how opaque, fragmented, and inaccessible code compliance processes slow down projects, increase costs, and put public safety at risk.
Driven by the belief that access to the law shouldn’t be a burden, Scott teamed up with his brother Garrett, a software engineer, to build a smarter, more equitable solution. A Y Combinator alumni, Scott brings a rare blend of industry insight and startup tenacity. Today, he leads UpCodes’ mission to empower the people who design and build our cities, by making the law accessible, actionable, and AI-enhanced.
