NY Casino Project Could Create 1,200 Construction Jobs

Once licenses are awarded, developer says construction could start within one week and be completed by the end of 2015

Rochester developer Thomas Wilmot won a bid for Lago Resort and Casino, a $425 million casino and resort to be built in rural Seneca County. Wilmot currently is waiting for licenses to be awarded. Wilmot's proposal includes creating 1,200 construction jobs for the project, which he says could be completed by the end of 2015.
