Washington County Road Department worker George Braswell filed a civil lawsuit in the U.S. District Court on December 19, 2014, alleging county officials pushed to save time and reduce costs which resulted in deviations from design plans, cut corners and defective construction on the Stonewall Road Bridge. County Attorney Steve Zega said he does not know how much it will cost taxpayers to tear down the bridge and start construction over.
