162,000 Commercial Construction Projects Went to Bid in 2014

Total contract values in 2014 increased more than $175 billion compared to 2013

BidClerk reports that 162,000 commercial construction projects valued at $455 billion went to bid in 2014, a significant increase over 2013. Atlanta alone had almost 1,800 construction projects for bid 9n 2014 with a total contract value of $4.47 billion - a 76 percent increase compared to 2013 in the city.
