The Massachusetts Building Trades Council says a group of construction trade unions and Kinder Morgan have signed a memorandum of understanding that will create 3,000 construction jobs with the proposed Tennessee Gas Pipeline in the northeast. The agreement means Kinder Morgan and its construction contractors will use union labor and negotiate a project labor agreement for all Northeast Energy Direct underground natural gas pipeline construction sites in Massachusetts.
