Wynn Hiring for One of the Biggest Projects in MA History

Wynn Resorts, the city of Everett, MA, and 21 trade unions held a job fair for the $1.6 billion Wynn casino that will break ground soon

Wynn Resorts and the city of Everett, MA, are getting their ducks in a row, preparing to hire a massive construction force for the $1.6 billion casino project.

“The sooner we open, the better,” said Robert DeSalvio, president of Wynn Everett, during a construction job fair at Everett High School yesterday. “Even though we’re a number of months away (from construction), we wanted to hit the ground running and get started.”

Wynn and 21 trade unions hosted about 800 prospective construction workers hoping for a union job at one of the largest construction projects in Massachusetts history.
