KS Contracting Corporation has been fined $3.2 million and is barred from working on future city and state contracts, according to City Comptroller Scott Stringer. KS allegedly cheated 36 of its workers — mostly from foreign countries — out of $1.2 million claiming it was paying workers $50 an hour when the contractor was actually only paying laborers $90 a day.
KS Contracting is barred from city or state work for the next five years.
