The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) voted to terminate its contract with PCL Construction Services on the Orlando International Airport's (OIA) south terminal project after PCL reportedly tried to change the deal with OIA.
PCL claims it was for cost savings, but airport officials believe it was a plan to reduce PCL's risk and increase the risk for OIA. Airport officials say th new terminal is still planned for a 2020 completion despite the removal of PCL from the project.
GOAA is currently looking for a company to replace PCL on the terminal construction project.
