The Transbay Bus Ramp was built as a part of the Transbay Transit Center in downtown San Francisco. Nicholson Construction worked in extremely tight quarters under a time-sensitive schedule with multiple contractors to construct load-bearing barrettes for the bus ramp.
Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS) has announced the two winning projects of its Most Important Project Bracket Challenge. The challenge garnered over 291,000 votes to help determine the best projects won or managed using HCSS software. In the HeavyBid bracket, James Construction Group, LLC took home first place for the Leeville Bridge project. Nicholson Construction Company's Transbay Bus Ramp project won the HeavyJob bracket.
