Steve Young to Keynote Inagural PlanGrid Construction Summit in June

Construction professionals and thought leaders from around the world will come together to discuss best practices and challenges affecting an industry

NFL Hall of Fame honoree Steve Young will keynote the PlanGrid Construction Summit, the company's inaugural conference. On June 10 and 11, 2018, at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco, construction professionals and thought leaders from around the world will come together to discuss best practices and challenges affecting an industry that currently accounts for 13% of global GDP.

Industry leaders speaking at the event include:

    With the theme of "Build Better, Together," PlanGrid's Construction Summit will highlight real world examples and provide strategic insights surrounding topics such as improving collaboration, increasing productivity, attracting millennials and adopting technology. 

    More than 15 different breakout sessions will be tailored to specific construction audiences, including users in the field, technology influencers and business executives. The event is expecting to draw more than 500 general contractors, owners, architects and subcontractors from around the world. 

    To kick off the Summit, PlanGrid CEO Tracy Young and CTO Ralph Gootee will share a long-range vision for the construction industry, showcase record-breaking customer projects and unveil new PlanGrid products.

    "With a rising global population, the resulting increase in demand for global economic development and an industry-wide trade labor shortage, we must immediately improve construction productivity to deliver the infrastructure our world needs," said Tracy Young, CEO of PlanGrid. "The inaugural PlanGrid Construction Summit will address the macroeconomic trends of our industry and challenges we face, while bringing together builders and partners from across the globe to meet and inspire each other."
