The heavy-duty Battle Ax horizontal drum mulcher is designed specifically for skid steers and is suited for vegetation management, including right-of-way maintenance, land clearing, forestry applications and more. It is available with 61- and 71-in. cutting widths for skid steers with 50 to 120 hydraulic hp.
- 17-in.-diameter rotor features built-in depth gauges that prevent the attachment from engaging too much material at one time
- Two-stage cutting chamber allows material to be cut twice by the rotor and helps produce smaller particle sizes
- Primary shear bar adjustable for customizing particle size
- Available with two hydraulic motor options: fixed-displacement gear or variable-displacement piston motor
- Adjustable skid shoes from 0.5 to -1.5 in. for below-grade mulching
- Staggered tooth pattern ensures single-tooth contact with the work surface at all times
- Standard universal skid-steer mounting, premium strength steel housing, machined anti-wrap bearing protector, adjustable push bar with welded claw hooks and integrated pressure gauge
