OTR Engineered Solutions has released the WorkBoss CT, a compact tractor tire designed to perform across a range of surfaces, from rough terrain to turf. The tire combines off-road traction, sidewall protection and self-cleaning features with a non-directional tread pattern to simplify installation and inventory.
Developed with OEM input, the WorkBoss CT uses aggressive lugs for off-road use and tie bars with a shallow center groove to improve performance on turf and paved surfaces. The design is intended to offer a smoother ride while maintaining traction in both forward and reverse.
The tire’s shallow center groove increases stiffness for added stability under load. Its centerline lugs and deep inter-lug grooves support traction and water displacement, while high-void shoulder blocks aim to improve lateral stability. Reinforced sidewall knuckles are built to resist impact and abrasion.
The WorkBoss CT is currently available in 18x8.50-10 and 26x12.00-12 sizes, with additional sizes planned. Multiple ply ratings, including six- and eight-ply options, are offered to accommodate higher load requirements. The line also introduces OTR’s use of molded QR codes on the sidewall for product information and tracking.
