Peterson Pacific Corp. - Astec Industries

Peterson Pacific Corp. has been an Oregon Corporation since 1981. The company began as Wilbur Peterson & Sons, a heavy construction company. Peterson expanded into manufacturing to develop equipment to suit their land clearing/construction needs. A portable chain flail Delimber-Debarker and portable Delimber-Debarker-Chipper were developed first, followed by the other portable equipment for the paper pulp industry. In July of 2007, Peterson was purchased by Astec Industries, Inc.
