The Grundoburst static pipe bursting system utilizes a cutter head with specially designed cutting wheels to burst and replace water, sewer, gas and other pipe.
- Six models available for bursting 2- to 54-in.-diameter pipe and larger
- Can pull in a variety of replacement pipe including PVC, DIP, ABS, cast iron, fusion welded HDPE and VCP jacking pipe
- Cutter head pulled by a hydraulic bursting unit, enabling the cutting wheels to split the host pipe
- Attached expander spreads and displaces split pipe into the surrounding soil while simultaneously pulling in new pipe
- QuickLock bursting rods link together to save time, prevent twisting and extend the life of the cutter head
