Bomag Holds First “Bomag Day” at New Complex

Dozens of BOMAG distributors and customers received a personalized tour of BOMAG Americas’ new North American headquarters in Ridgeway, SC. Held January 25, attendees received a first-look at the new BOMAG offices, training center (pictured), parts distribution center and manufacturing area, and they were treated to an equipment parade and exhibit that showed the breadth of the BOMAG product line. BOMAG Americas completed the move from its previous plant location in Kewanee, Ill., in 2015, and, more recently, transferred Cedarapids paver and CMI reclaimer-stabilizer manufacturing from Oklahoma City, OK, to the Ridgeway facility.

 

Neyra Acquires Sealcoat Supply

Neyra Industries Inc., Cincinnati, recentl added three distribution locations in Delaware through the acquisition of Sealcoat Supply Inc. Neyra Pavement Products will now serve the Dover, New Castle and Georgetown areas with its line of pavement maintenance and surfacing solution products.

 

Federal Signal to Acquire Joe Johnson Equipment

Federal Signal Corp.’s Environmental Solutions Group (ESG) announced it will acquire Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE), a Canadian-based distributor of maintenance equipment for municipal and industrial markets. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the June.

JJE will operate as part of Federal Signal’s ESG, Elgin, IL, produces street sweepers, industrial vacuum trucks, high-performance waterblasting equipment, sewer cleaners and vacuum excavators for commercial, municipal and industrial customers.

“This acquisition reflects the Environmental Solutions Group’s commitment to grow across North America, while remaining close to our core,” said Sam Miceli, senior vice president of Federal Signal’s Environmental Solutions Group. “JJE brings a comprehensive platform of product, rental and used equipment offerings that will allow us to expand our product portfolio and better serve our dealer network and customers in both the United States and Canada.”

 

Bergkamp Inc. forms New Company

Bergkamp Inc., Salinas, KS, has formed Bergkamp Bituminous Solutions, the company’s “next step toward achieving our vision to make roads better globally, by allowing owners of roadways to be more efficient in the construction, maintenance and preservation of their road infrastructure,” says Scott Bergkamp, president and CEO of Bergkamp Inc. and general manager of Bergkamp Bituminous Solutions. The new company will operate alongside Bergkamp Pavement Preservation Solutions.

To accomplish this Bergkamp Inc. has formed a strategic alliance with DenimoTech, a Denmark-based company, to market, sell and support a full range of emulsion mills and plants, polymer-modified asphalt blending mills and plants, crumb rubber blending plants, laboratory plants, storage tanks and mixers.
