Nationwide service alliance, 1-800-SWEEPER, Toledo, OH, is harnessing the power of cutting-edge simulator training, putting it in a rodeo challenge format and is challenging National Pavement Expo attendees to "saddle up" and give it a try when they stop by booth #241.
According to Carolyn Bell at 1-800-SWEEPER, the company has developed a state-of-the-art sweeper simulator for operator training purposes and is introducing it via a “fun, challenging and potentially prize-winning rodeo. To qualify, all attendees at NPE need to do is come to the booth and sign up to give it a ‘ride.’ We’ve put a full bank of challenges and real world conditions in the simulation so people will get a real sense of operating a sweeper. We like to think of it as the mechanical bull of the sweeper world,” Bell said.
She said prizes for best performance will be rewarded daily and the grand prize will be awarded for the best overall score for the two-day qualifying period. “Naturally, big bragging rights go with winning the grand prize and we’ve been told you can take that to the bank!”she said.
Simulators will also be in the Schwarze Industries booth (#1005) and the NiteHawk Sweepers booth (#1438).
National Pavement Expo will be held Feb. 7-10 in Cleveland. For details visit www.nationalpavementexpo.com.
