Everyone in construction repeats the same line about young people not wanting to work. Brandon Noel went to a minor league ballpark in Lakewood, New Jersey, where fifty-odd construction companies set up tables and a few hundred vocational students walked the promenade with questions. The event has grown every year since it started, and companies from other counties are now calling to get in. What surprised him was not the turnout. It was how seriously the students took it.
