Milwaukee Tool launched its Power Managers for 15Amp and 20Amp Circuits, a solution designed to optimize circuit usage and improve battery charging capacity.

What the Power Manager does:

  • Enables the charging of more batteries
  • Prevents circuit overloads
  • Maximizes efficiency on a single circuit

This solution is designed to maximize the charging of M12, M18, and MX FUEL batteries by supporting a greater number of chargers. The Power Manager improves charging efficiency with intelligent power switching by regularly measuring the power being used by each outlet and calculating the largest number of outlets that can be energized at any given time. This ensures that the maximum number of outlets are powered without overloading the circuit. The system automatically activates additional outlets as power becomes available, making full use of the circuit's capacity for extended periods.

This solution also supports bulk overnight charging, allowing users to charge batteries across multiple chargers without needing to swap them manually. For daytime charging, the user can prioritize high-speed chargers for faster battery charging, minimizing downtime and getting back to work quickly.

Additionally, the Power Manager offers customization with the power throttle feature, adjusting the total power drawn to support additional circuit needs. This solution includes 12 NEMA 5-15 outlets, each with individual indicator lights to display the status of every outlet.

The Power Manager is designed with hang holes for wall mounting and is compatible with the PACKOUT modular storage system, making it easy to integrate into any workspace.
