Ford Reimbursing Customers to Settle Suit Over Navistar Engine Woes

Owners of 2003 - 2007 Super Duty pickups who had trouble with Power Stroke diesels before 135,000 miles or six years can get money back

Ford Motor Co. is reimbursing anyone whose 2003-'07 Super Duty pickups and E-series vans with a 6-liter Power Stroke diesel engine required repair to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler and EGR valve, oil cooler, fuel injectors or turbocharge before reaching 135,000 miles or six years.

The 6-liter V8 engines were manufactured by then-Ford-supplier Navistar.

Settlement of the class action suit assigned each component a reimbursement limit.
