Ford Recalling Over 300 2014 Transit Connect Vans

Recall includes Transit Connect vans manufactured between March 1 and May 15, 2014 that may have a brake reservoir cap missing information on which brake fluid the vehicle uses

According to PickupTrucks.com, Ford is recalling nearly 370 2014 Ford Transit Connect vans due to a brake reservoir cap that does not have the required text advising owners which brake fluid the vehicle uses. Recalled vehicles include those manufactured between March 1 and May 15, 2014.

Using the wrong brake fluid could cause damage to the brake system seals which could also lengthen stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Ford dealers will replace the brake reservoir cap with the correct one for free.
