Pickups by General Motors fill all three full-sized pickup categories of Vincentric’s 2016 Best Fleet Value in America awards. Ford’s Transit took home the awards for full-size 1-ton cargo vans and full-size ¾-ton cargo vans.

All winners of Vincentric’s 2016 Best Fleet Value in America

To select the Best Fleet Value in America, Vincentric analyzed cost of ownership on over 2,400 vehicle configurations based upon typical fleet use. Vincentric measures cost of ownership using eight different cost factors:

  • Depreciation
  • Fees & taxes
  • Financing
  • Fuel
  • Insurance
  • Maintenance
  • Opportunity cost
  • Repairs.

Each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus the District of Columbia using 20 different lifecycle cost scenarios. Winners were identified by determining which vehicles had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios for its segment.
