Shurco has introduced SMARTrailer electric systems for hopper bottom trailers, offering configurable automation options for tarp and hopper door operation.
The system allows operators to select combinations of electric tarp systems, hopper door openers, wireless remotes and accessories based on trailer setup and operating needs. Components operate on a unified wireless platform and can be expanded over time.
Available options include multiple tarp configurations, hopper door openers with varying torque and weight capacities, and remote controls ranging from basic to two-way communication models.
The systems are designed to reduce manual operation and allow drivers to control trailer functions from the cab. Sealed wiring and corrosion-resistant components are intended for agricultural, over-the-road and off-highway applications.
