VMAC welcomes Barry Fitzgerald as the company’s Engineering Manager. Barry will lead the Engineering, Custom Shop, and Foundry teams at VMAC and collaborate with the management team.
Barry’s work in a variety of engineering, supply chain, director, and management positions throughout the years provides him with a diverse and well-rounded perspective that will be valuable to VMAC’s dealers, end-users, and internal teams.
Barry is a Professional Engineer who has worked in a variety of roles across numerous industries, including automobile, medical, renewable energy, and manufacturing. For example, he has worked for companies that provide: re-deployable shelters for the military, medical devices that detect early stage cancer, electro-mechanical graphic arts products, and tidal-turbine hydro power—just to mention a few.
Barry holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Limerick in Ireland, as well as an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
